This part of the workshop we will arrange flowers in the vessels you have created and photograph them on a backdrop. 

There will be a selection of blooms and textural botanicals to choose from. Think outside the box as we explore floral elements as sculptural form! 

This ceramic workshop is for all levels. Beginners will be guided through some basic techniques of handbuilding with clay while other more intermediate or advanced students are encouraged to dream big and will be supported in execution of that vision, while keeping in mind the time frame we have to work in. 

We will look at inspiration images and examples from my own collection, old ikebana images, constance spry, and more! We will talk about elements of floral design and how that translates into form.
